Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of the initial deposit and a signed charter agreement.

The standard payment schedule is:

• 30% deposit upon booking confirmation.
• 70% balance due four (4) weeks prior to embarkation.

For bookings made less than four weeks before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

2. Security Deposit

For bareboat charters, a refundable security deposit is required at embarkation, payable by credit card or cash. The amount varies by yacht type and is returned in full at disembarkation, provided no damage or loss has occurred. For crewed charters, the security deposit may be replaced by non-refundable insurance coverage, depending on the charter agreement.

3. Included in the Charter Fee

Unless otherwise specified, the charter fee includes:

• Yacht rental and use of standard onboard equipment.
• Yacht insurance (third-party liability and hull insurance).
• VAT and local taxes as applicable at the time of booking.
• Fresh water and full fuel tank at embarkation (to be refilled by the charterer before return).

4. Not Included in the Charter Fee

The following costs are not included unless otherwise stated:

• Fuel consumption during the charter.
• Food, beverages, and personal expenses.
• Port and marina fees, water, and electricity at ports.
• Crew gratuities (optional but customary, typically 10–15% of the charter fee).
• Transfers to/from the embarkation port.
• Any other expenses not expressly stated as included.

5. APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance)

For crewed charters, an APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is obligatory and is used to cover onboard expenses such as:

• Fuel, food and beverages, port fees, communications, and other incidentals.

For skippered-only charters, the APA is optional, depending on the client’s preference for pre-arranged provisioning or pay-as-you-go expenses.

The Captain maintains detailed accounts of APA expenditures, and any unused funds are refunded at the end of the charter.

6. Cancellation Policy

• More than 61 days before embarkation: Refund minus 5% administrative fee on the total charter amount.
• 30 to 60 days before embarkation: 70% refund (30% of the total charter fee retained).
• Less than 29 days before embarkation: No refund (100% of the charter fee is due).

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, a refund may be made at the company’s discretion.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unforeseen cancellations.

7. Charterer’s Responsibilities

• The charterer must hold a valid sailing license recognized by Greek authorities (for bareboat charters).
• The yacht must be operated in accordance with Greek maritime law and the instructions provided during check-in.
• The charterer is responsible for the safety and conduct of all passengers and for maintaining the yacht and its equipment in good condition.

8. Company’s Responsibilities

• The company guarantees that the yacht is delivered in seaworthy condition, clean, and fully equipped in accordance with the inventory list.
• In the event of a technical failure, the company will make every reasonable effort to repair or replace the yacht within 48 hours.

9. Embarkation & Disembarkation

• Embarkation: Saturdays at 17:00 (check-in).
• Disembarkation: Fridays by 18:00 (yacht must return to base).
• Final disembarkation: Saturday by 09:00 after overnight stay on board.

Late return without prior agreement may result in additional charges.

10. Insurance

All yachts are insured against:

• Sea and collision risks, fire, theft, and third-party liability.

The charterer’s liability is limited to the amount of the security deposit, unless the loss or damage results from gross negligence or unlawful acts.

11. Force Majeure

The company shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or damages resulting from events beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, wars, or government restrictions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and any charter agreement entered into shall be governed by the laws of Greece, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Piraeus.
